Hannah Beuger

Designer at Coffee Stain Studios

Hannah joined Coffee Stain Studios in 2017 to work on Satisfactory and has stuck around since. Level design and set dressing were her core responsibilities, but she's also been involved in narrative, art, and general design.

She's generally obsessed with media and the process of its creation, and one of her biggest achievements is being up-to-date with Critical Role.

Talk: Building An Industrialist Playground: A World Without People

When I started working on the world of Satisfactory I immediately encountered a big question: how does one do good level design, including such things as signposting and environmental storytelling, without using in-world architecture? Over time I developed a methodology to address this, and I will walk you through how I discovered it, and how to apply it.

This talk will cover mainly the visual direction and building of an area, less the gameplay design involved.
